Funny Bear's Daring Post for Babies

Because sometimes it is too rainy to go for a walk, or too cold. Or because sometimes you've been for a walk but still need to find a way to be just a bit daring:

1. Blanket rides - Funny Bear lies on her tummy (on a blanket, naturally) and I pull her around the floor while making 'choo choo' noises.
2. Flashlight games - With the lights down low, we play with the flash light and make shadow puppets.
3. Acting out stories - A great activity for when Funny Bear is in her swing or high chair. Our current favorite story for acting out is How Does a Dinosaur Say Goodnight? by Jane Yolen.
4. Dance parties - Funny Bear's favorite song is "We're Going to Be Friends" by The White Stripes.
5. Bubbles! - Fun any time.
6. Smell garden - Favorite smells - cinnamon, cloves, and curry powder.
7. Touch and feel tour - We put toys around the house for the tour, but also make stops for counter tops, cold things out of the refrigerator, things that crinkle...
8. Hello, Mirror Baby! - Funny Bear thinks the baby in the mirror is very charming.
9. Inside the box, outside the box - We have a little hippo that can be inside a box, or out of it, but you can try with non-hippo box inhabitants and it will likely work almost as well.
10. Patty Cake, Itsy Bitsy, and Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes- These are classics, I know, but they are favorites right now.

What does your daring baby do for fun?
